Peice Hall
The Halifax Peice Hall first opened on the 1st of January 1779. Originally built as a market for handloom weavers to sell pieces of cloth, it is now host to a wide range of speciality shops.
Today the peice hall is still a central part of Halifax, located next to the Woolshops and close to the Bus and Train station
It is used occasiaonlly as an exhibition space and music events that attract thousnads of people from around the region.
The Peice hall also hosts the Halifax Market.
