Swimming Pool
Halifax swimming pool is located on the outskirts of Halifax, opposite the Halifax Head office. The pool is 25 metre pool and offers swimming lessons, Lifesaving courses and even Diving and Synchronised Swimming. The facility also offers a fitness section, with an air conditioned dance studio and 2 squash courts.

Along with the Halifax Swimming Pool, the North Bridge Leisure Centre offers a large sports hall that can be used for a wide range of sports including;

TThe fitness studios are air-conditioned and have the latest gym equipment. Floodlit, outdoor sports areas are also provided. There are many programs that the centre runs, for people of all ages.

Although there are plans for a cinema as part of the Halifax regeneration, there are no cinemas in the centre of Halifax. However there are many within easy access of Halifax.

Halifax central library is located in the centre of Halifax town centre, next to the council offices.
